Work culture

We aim to ensure that our employees regard Systematic as an exciting and challenging company working with the highest quality and the newest software technologies, as our most important asset is our employees' knowledge, experience and commitment.

Communication and openness

Dialogue is a fundamental element of Systematic's management strategy. It is important to us that our employees experience an open and constructive dialogue in the projects they are involved in.

Each month, company briefings are held to inform employees of news from the top management, status on orders, new tasks, financial and internal matter, among other things. Furthermore, the top management conducts open café meetings every second month at which employees may ask any question and raise any subject.

In the project teams, an open dialogue is given priority - internally as well as externally. Communication is essential to project planning to allow employees, customers and partners to keep up to date with on the status of the project in which they are involved. The premises accommodate informal cooperation through open rooms, café environments and sofa groups.

Dialogue is also important in connection with the follow-up on our annual employee satisfaction survey. Workshops are held in all business areas and projects to assess survey results and discuss which initiatives are needed to facilitate improvement.

Teamwork

Systematic is a project and team oriented house in which cooperation is a central element of day-to-day activities. A successful implementation of complex and often critical software projects requires effective teamwork. As a result, the project members are grouped in a manner that ensures an optimal combination of the competencies required in order to live up to the demands each project is required to fulfil.

In most cases, every project member is involved throughout the project. This means that participation in all phases including analysis, specification of demands, design, programming and test to documentation, installation and user education.

Freedom with responsibility

'Freedom with responsibility' is one our six values which influence all our activities. We make a point of continuously challenging our employees personally as well as professionally. We expect our employees to take responsibility and plan their own tasks, and we encourage them to seek new challenges by means of job rotation, training as well as managerial and specialist tasks.

Our employees are free to plan their work day within the framework of time, cost and quality.
