Talent developmentAt Systematic, we live by the motto 'it is better to train people and risk they leave - than do nothing and they stay'. For Systematic, every employee is an individual talent with unique competencies. It is vital that our employees thrive and grow. In 2006/07 our training and course expenditure was 8.3% of the overall wage costs. Furthermore, we recognise the demand for new competencies and certifications. We have a well-structured incentive programme including one-off bonuses, pay supplements and reduction in working time in connection with training and certifications. CertificationsWe want our software developers to hold the certifications needed to deliver results at a high professional level. We thereby ensure that we can provide a high and well-documented competence level for our customers and that our employees maintain a high training level. The majority of the certifications is within the technologies of Microsoft, Java and Oracle. New employees often achieve one or more certifications within their first semester at Systematic. This allows them to specialise in a range of technologies. Further trainingThe majority of Systematic's employees has a high education but education must be maintained continuously. We value a high standard of training which is ensured by means of public training as well as internal and external courses. In connection with public training, Systematic supports the individual employee financially by paying the necessary fees and relevant literature. Currently, some of our employees are receiving management training or taking a diploma or master degree.
