Career paths

At Systematic, we offer transparent managerial and professional career paths. We do so in order:

  • To popularise career paths and make them available for all employees who have clear demands and expectations.
  • To strengthen the company's ability to be scalable in order to enable continuous growth. This demands that an increasing number of employees develop their skills within specific focus areas and that an increasing number participate in developing others.

Choice of career paths

We appreciate good generalists and experts as much as good leaders. Therefore we make sure that there are career paths for those employees, who do not aspire to become a leader or manager. In return, we expect that all employees together with their manager discuss and decide on a career path on the basis of their opportunities, abilities and not least the needs of the project and the company.

Two career paths - managerial and professional

The managerial career path concerns those employees who want to make a career within management. This career demands much focus on the ability and the urge to motivate others, delegate tasks and responsibility, create overview and clarity. Management demands an interest in people and business.

The professional career path concerns those employees who want to make a career within other areas than management - this may be as experts or generalists. Focus should be on the technical solution for these people.
