Case management system

Supports Schengen related working processes

Systematic has a long-standing track record of providing data management capabilities to defence forces, law enforcement agencies and intelligence services. We also provide a range of services related to public and private preparedness, surveillance systems and the protection of critical infrastructure.

In 2008, Systematic delivered the Sirene2 case management system to the Danish police. Sirene2 supports the working processes related to the Schengen agreement, whose purpose is to monitor and coordinate the guarding of the EU’s joint borders and ensure free movement within all countries that have signed this important agreement. Sirene2 communicates with both the joint Schengen Information Systems (SIS) and local systems already used in nations that are Schengen signatories.

As the EU has expanded, more and more countries have signed the Schengen agreement. New participants in the Schengen scheme will therefore need similar case management systems. This represents an interesting business opportunity for Systematic.
