We helped PET ensuring efficient, secure handling of rapidly growing volumes of data

Systematic has aided Politiets Efterretningstjeneste (PET, the Danish Security Intelligence Service) in analysing the organisation’s business processes and the way to makes use of information received. The aim was to tackle PET’s need to support an escalating palette of different responsibilities as well as to ensure efficient, secure handling of rapidly growing volumes of data.

With this in mind, PET and Systematic worked together on drafting a vision and a strategy for a future IT infrastructure, along with a systems architecture for the future. This is all combined into a high-level IT programme (including plans for schedules and budgets) that will form the basis for a new IT platform for the Danish intelligence services.
