Systematic at conference on digital administration
On 3 November 2009, Systematic’s business unit Integration Services (IS) participated in the Danish conference on digital administration entitled ‘Forvaltning og Digitalisering 2009’ (Administration and Digitalisation 2009).

10 November 2009
The conference was held in the Bella Center in Copenhagen by a number of public-sector agencies, including the Danish IT and Telecom Agency and the Center for Digital Administration from the Danish Ministry of Finance.
The conference is Denmark’s largest conference and meeting place for sharing information and networking with decision-makers from both public and private sectors about the managerial challenges associated with the digitalisation of the public sector. 500 participants met to gain more knowledge and share their views on the implementation of the joint public digitalisation strategy in Denmark.
IT - a catalyst for efficiency?
A number of contributors, including the Danish Health Minister Jacob Axel Nielsen, future group managing director in SKAT (part of the Danish Ministry of Taxation) Jesper Skovhus, Peter Schleidt from the Danske Bank, Digitalisation Manager in Kommunernes Landsforening (Local Government Denmark), Jakob Harder, and Lars Frelle-Petersen from the Digital Taskforce, provided key contributions to the debate. Seen from different angles, this debate focused on two things in particular; IT as a catalyst for efficiency and the types of challenges that public-sector IT projects often seem to encounter.
Suppliers with strong IT insight
This is the second time that Systematic has had a stand at this conference. Our stand was extremely well placed and we experienced great interest in our messages throughout the day. Systematic received a number of enquiries that will require follow-up in the time to come.
Achieving full potential in a continued digitalisation of the public sector will require suppliers that have an eye for business value as well as strong competencies within system development and system integration.
Systematic fulfils all these prerequisites for becoming an important player in this market – this is exactly what Systematic wishes to call attention to by attending conferences like this.
