The Patient Administration module for Systematic Columna ensures efficient sharing of information between the parties involved in the treatment of a patient, thus ensuring an efficient, streamlined clinical pathway.

Efficient process for referral and consultation

The Patient Administration module supports all the stages asscociated with referral, consultation and booking. Electronically transferred referrals and referrals from other departments are displayed automatically in Columna on the individual patient’s referral list, and on the department’s list of referrals.

When referrals are accepted, a consultation can be carried out and planning of the patient’s clinical pathway can begin. Planning includes information about waiting lists, using features that include waiting list groups and statuses. Referrals sent to the wrong department, or that are incomplete, are forwarded or rejected.

Rapid registration of admission and appointments

Registration of admission or appointments can be carried out quickly, because only the most necessary and clinically relevant information has to be registered. Secretaries can subsequently supplement these admission registrations and appointments with any further details necessary for administration and finance.
