All the core components in Columna, as well as the technology platform, have been field-tested over extended periods. This contributes to a high level of operational reliability.
Classical layered architecture – easy to expand
Columna features a classical layered architecture with separated responsibility between the user interface, logic, domain-specific services and data processing.
Flexible interaction possibilities
Columna is based on a thick client approach that gives high user responsiveness and interaction possibilities. When the user logs off, the user's personal functionality settings in Columna are stored on the server and are resumed when the user logs in on the same or another workstation at a later time.
