Systematic Columna is used in most hospitals in the Central and South Denmark regions.

Systematic Columna in Central Denmark Region, as of October 2010:

• In use at 18 hospitals
• 25,000 registered users, all dealt with by the same installation
• Approximately 5,000 different users per day
• 6 million people are registered in Columna
• 720,000 patients' data are registered in Columna
• 3,300 admissions and 10,000 outpatients registered per day
• 27,000 laboratory results per day – in peak periods up to 4,200 per hour
• 28,000 administrations of medicine per day
