Systematic’s primary role is deliver the standardised Columna clinical information system, in which the company’s core skills are embedded.
In parallel with this, we ensure that each local partner receives the necessary training in how to use, configure and customise the core Columna system, so that it complies with the details of local needs, preferences and requirements. Our partner strategy makes sure each customer receives a complete package of IT-based products and services that support all relevant healthcare requirements.
Because of the great complexity of the healthcare sector, Systematic has laid down clear parameters for selecting our strategic partners. These include:
- A Systematic partner must have a strong local presence
Marketing, sales and implementation of clinical information systems requires both familiarity and appreciation of each local customer’s exact wishes and requirements. It is also crucial that the partner has detailed knowledge of relevant national legislation, and the requirements that arise from this. Clinical information systems play a key role in healthcare decision-making, and this means there is a big need for local help and operational support to achieve the necessary accessibility and stability. - A Systematic partner must work with tasks and projects in the health sector, and must work with the kinds of customers that would be interested in a system like Columna
A company can only acquire the necessary in-depth knowledge about the healthcare sector by working in collaboration with the local health authorities and healthcare providers. As Systematic wants implementation, modelling, configuration and training in use of Columna to be the responsibility of local partners, it is crucial that such a partner has the necessary familiarity with the details of a clinical working day in the country or region in focus. - A Systematic partner must have primary focus on the responsibilities of a system provider
Delivery of a complete clinical information to the end-user customer means the local Systematic partner must be able to provide a wide range of specialist skills and resources. The partner must be able to take on overall responsibility with relation to the end-user customer and must be capable of fielding the necessary skills – if necessary by using sub-contractors. At the same time, the partner must be able to act as a professional sparring partner for the customer.
