Two-way information pipe

The SitaWare Maritime Boarding system combines multiple technical capabilities into one practical, easy-to-carry solution that’s also extremely easy to use. You have access to the most up-to-date tactical information while you are boarding, your commanders can maintain regional situational awareness, and there’s an up-to-date COP available to everyone involved.

SitaWare Maritime Boarding provides an effective two-way information pipe between the boarding party and the command vessel, enabling each mobile unit to check things like passports, ID cards and fingerprints, as well as logbooks and cargo manifests.

It also ensures effective comms, order transfers and reports. This means task force commanders and tactical officers have a complete picture of what the boarding party is seeing and doing, as well as everything going on nearby.

Where it’s used

SitaWare Maritime Boarding systems are normally used by quick-reaction tactical units whose job is to inspect and – if necessary – board and search suspect vessels. You can be sure your operation won’t go pear-shaped because of lack of info or comms.

In such situations, it is essential to have robust, easy-to-use gear that works effectively even below decks and inside cargo holds. It only takes a push of a button to relay data about what you’re seeing and doing direct to your ops room and/or task force commanders – and even via satellite to HQ back home.

Similar solutions are available for other kinds of anti-piracy operations, force protection and security assignments.
