Main Capabilities

SitaWare Headquarters provides the following support for key operational activities:

• Situational Awareness: Geographical Information System (GIS) supports the widest range of military map formats, terrain data, and terrain tools, in both 2D and 3D.
• Mission Planning: Constructing textual and graphical plans & orders in a collaborative manner, allowing for input to the planning cycle from different physical installations. Plan templates are customizable to national requirements.
• Mission Execution: Supports current operations, providing a joint set of customisable military and civilian symbology, supporting multiple types of layers, such as current friendly situation, uncorrelated enemy, globally significant, plan overlays, etc.
• Mission Reporting: Reporting of logistic information such as unit consumables, equipment, and personnel holdings, allowing for viewing unit capabilities (nominal holdings) and reporting of their current holding status. Also includes a Situation Record & Playback capability, allowing debriefing or after action review of specific parts or periods of an operation.
• Interoperability: The highest degree of interoperability is achieved through simultaneous support of MIP Block 2 and 3.
