SitaWare Frontline is an invaluable piece of battle management software for mobile commanders in the battlefield. It quickly updates information, accurately and reliably to build a clear picture of where friendly and hostile forces are located.
It is extremely easy to learn and use, provides high performance yet has a small footprint and can be easily deployed and maintained in both mounted and dismounted environments. A true and straight-forward piece of battle management software.
How is the two-piece battle management software used
SitaWare Frontline battle management software is designed as a two-piece application.
The SitaWare Frontline user application’s small footprint means it can run directly from a removable storage device or be installed on PC as preferred. The benefit of having transferable user data is that commanders can connect to the system from any vehicle.
SitaWare Frontline’s vehicle application is installed on the computer in the vehicle and only occasionally upgraded. It provides the interface to existing vehicle communications equipment, sensors and weapon systems.
Prior to engagement, SitaWare Frontline can be used for preparation and distribution of overlay orders, obtaining the most up-to-date overview of the situation as well as for coordination purposes.
In the execution phase, it can be used for reporting, making immediate adjustments and changes to on-going operations, and can also be used to call in support.
After the mission, status reports and requests for resupply can also be made through SitaWare Frontline. Designed and tested with the real world users of battle management software - frontline commanders that knows the real world C2 challenges.

- High update rate for FFT over tactical radios achieved through the SitaWare Tactical Communications protocol.
