SitaWare Dismounted software provides the dismounted soldier with the same situational awareness and interoperability capabilities as other levels in the chain of command.

SitaWare Dismounted features the key functionalities available in the vehicle-mounted SitaWare Battle Management system, specially configured to meet the practical needs of the individual soldier. The focus is on:

• Accurate geospatial information and maps
• Messaging functionality
• Reporting functionality

The Windows-based user interface is similar to the touch-screen interface of SitaWare Battle Management, giving it a familiar “look and feel” as well as making it easy to learn and easy to use.

Where it’s used

SitaWare Dismounted solutions are normally installed in hand-held devices such as ruggedised mobile phones and PDAs.

The intention is to provide the individual soldier or unit with the best possible situational awareness at the lowest possible weight.

Compatibilities

The open architecture and modular design, based on recognised international standards, makes it easy to integrate SitaWare Dismounted with a wide range of hardware and software.

It can also be ported to equipment such as mobile phones, smartphones, wrist computers, etc.
