Active and familiar

By focusing on what dismounted troops need to complete their missions safely, we’ve created one of the first practical C2 set-ups for use by the individual soldier. SitaWare Dismounted software turns modern hand-held display devices and communication units into active, integrated parts of military command, control and messaging capabilities.

SitaWare Dismounted can also be used with a vast range of other lightweight, easily portable units available to the modern soldier. The software is designed for use with ruggedised equipment and touch-screen user interfaces, ideal for both in-vehicle deployment and mobile use.

The familiar Windows-based interface makes the whole system easy to use, even when the pressure is on.

Maps at your fingertips

SitaWare Dismounted software gives you immediate access to the geospatial data and maps your forces use. You can zoom in and out to get the tactical overview you want, and you can see the parts of the COP that you need for any particular patrol or operation.

Tactical inputs

SitaWare Dismounted software enables you to draw tactical graphics on the screen, ready for immediate transmission along the chain of command. It includes standardised APP6 (NATO) and MIL-STD-2525 (US) tactical graphics and symbology, for quick and easy use.

SitaWare Dismounted can also support a range of different sensors and other tactical inputs.

Rapid reporting

Standardised military messaging capabilities are built in. You can use a simple range of pre-defined actions to pass on intel, reconnaissance information and other reports to other units, and to the rest of your squad.

Keeping connected

Equipment that uses SitaWare Dismounted can be linked into the particular command and messaging structures that your forces and your coalition partners use.

This is done by linking up to SitaWare tactical replication software via networks capable of handling IP-based data (including WiFi, GPRS and 3G networks). The signal from your hand-held devices will often be relayed by other units equipped with hardware that uses SitaWare Dismounted software, or via IP-compliant hubs in your vehicles and/or other force components.
