Processes and procedures
Quality, efficiency and predictability are crucial
We continuously optimise our development processes in order to deliver reliable, user-friendly products and solutions on time, and at the agreed price and quality.
Clear focus on processes
Systematic has focused on implementing ongoing process improvements since 1992, when we began working on the basis of ISO 9001 frameworks. Ever since then, we have chosen to follow the internationally recognised Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).
The CMMI model is designed to raise a company from using immature, ad hoc development processes towards planned processes that are well-structured, disciplined and predictable.
CMMI Level 5 certified
After eight years of determined effort and hard work and after investing more than 100,000 man-hours in the process, we were accredited as a CMMI Level 5 company in 2005, and recertified in 2009.
There are only 174 companies worldwide with this exclusive status, including only 13 in Europe.
Mature processes ensure the best results
Attaining CMMI Level 5 accreditation has never been a goal in itself – we consider process improvements a natural part of our day-to-day work.
As a result, we reached 95% of all delivery milestones on time in 2009/10. This key figure is significantly better than the industry norm.
Combining CMMI and agile methods
We combine CMMI with principles from agile software development methods, such as Scrum. CMMI creates process discipline and organisational structure while the agile input bolsters our flexibility.
