Our natural duty

We help soldiers who can no longer undertake front-line duties

Much of Systematic’s business stems from the defence sector, and we therefore consider it our natural duty to help soldiers who can no longer undertake front-line duties.

Soldaterlegatet

We therefore actively support the Soldiers’ Grant foundation (Soldaterlegatet). The purpose of this organisation is to help Danish soldiers who have suffered physical or psychological trauma in the course of military service abroad, as well as helping the bereaved and the families of soldiers previously posted abroad.

We provide support in the form of premises for the Soldiers’ Grant foundation to use for its activities, enabling the organisation to increase capacity and thus ultimately help more soldiers. In addition, our familiarity with the Danish defence forces, and experience in this field, means that both parties can help each other in our work relating to the Danish defence forces.

Anders Lassen Fonden

We also support the Anders Lassen Foundation (Anders Lassen Fonden), which rewards significant military efforts and helps injured soldiers. The Anders Lassen Foundation was established in the memory of the Danish major Anders Lassen, who displayed exceptional prowess and leadership during the Second World War. The major remains an ideal for people serving in the military. The foundation is administered by the Danish Army Special Forces (Jægerkorpset).

STSOP

We financially support the Danish organisation SSOP (an abbreviation for ’Støt Soldater og Pårørende’, which means ‘support for soldiers and relatives’). This way, we are able to aid the organisation in helping soldiers wounded in the course of military services as well as the relatives of dead or wounded soldiers through financial support.

SSOP is a civilian organisation consisting of individuals attached to the Danish Defence Forces – as employees, relatives or former servicemen. The organisation is unaffiliated with the management of the Defence Forces, is non-partisan and takes a neutral stance to subjects related to the Defence Forces. SSOP’s only focus is the soldiers and their relatives.

Injured soldiers as software testers

We offer injured soldiers trainee positions as software testers. This allows these soldiers to make use of their experience and skills in the private sector when their future prospects for careers in the armed services have been inadvertently curtailed. At the same time, they develop new skills via a two-year training programme that will help improve their employment potential. Learn more
