Previews of three new Systematic products

Systematic has now lifted the veil on beta versions of IRIS Forms Server, IRIS Forms SDK and IRIS Web Forms.

New IRIS Forms products

IRIS products from Systematic are almost universally recognised as the standard of choice for message-based interoperability in military operations.

On 1 February, Systematic lifted the veil on no fewer than three new IRIS products. Beta versions of IRIS Forms Server, IRIS Forms SDK and IRIS Web Forms were announced as part of Systematic’s ongoing programme of innovation, improvement and renewal of its standardised core products for defence users worldwide.

New focus

Systematic is currently engaged in moving its IRIS suite of messaging products to the forefront of web technology, so that they are easily available, using only a web browser.

The emerging generation of Systematic web-based products provides the same capabilities as traditional desktop and server/client applications, with the additional benefit of a small footprint, rapid deployment, minimal learning curve and effective support.
 
Beta versions of the first new IRIS products are now being rolled out for hands-on customer feedback.

Charter user programme

As a key feature of our product development process, Systematic is encouraging defence organisation partners that appreciate the need for such a web server-based API to take part in a 'charter user programme' that runs from now until the end of September 2010.

This will involve participants using the IRIS Forms SDK product in their own systems and exploring its functionality and usefulness in the nitty-gritty of practical requirements. And then providing Systematic with feedback from their hands-on experience. Systematic appreciates all the input and response we can get, and in return you will receive an even better product.

We will also be setting up a demo server for IRIS Web Forms, so that potential customers can try out this important new application, and get a good sense of what it can achieve.

About the products:

IRIS Forms Server

The new IRIS Forms Server provides a web-based core for IRIS messaging systems, making it possible to deal with message text format (MTF) operations that use the Internet as backbone rather than a traditional server/client set-up.

This highly efficient web server has a small footprint that makes it easy to install and run.

This product serves as the basis for the IRIS Forms Software Development Kit (SDK) and the IRIS Web Forms client.

IRIS Forms SDK

The IRIS Forms Software Development Kit (SDK) is a web-based API that provides a consistent interface to the vast majority of relevant MTF standards (ADatP-3, USMTF, OTHT-GOLD, etc.). This enables system integrators to quickly and effectively build dedicated applications for handling specific types of messages.

This in turn paves the way to rapid, reliable integration of MTF handling within a wide spectrum of military command and control systems.


IRIS Web Forms

This is a web-based system for unambiguously structured message entry and data capture. The product is designed on Software as a Service (SaaS) principles, ensuring rapid, easy deployment and effective support for users, whose interface is always up to date. Everything runs from a web browser that can be accessed from virtually anywhere.

IRIS Web Forms saves time and manpower by doing away with manual processing of information, and by making reliable processing of military orders, reports and messages directly available via Internet access.
