Systematic opens the doors

In the company of VIA University College and Lederne Østjylland, Systematic brings agile development into focus on 9 June.

18 May 2010

For years, Systematic has combined CMMI, Lean and Agile – and we have proved several times that this cocktail results in an even better model for project implementation. CMMI, Lean and Agile are strong concepts separately, but when mixed in the right way, new strong synergies arise.

In the company of VIA University College and Lederne Østjylland (organisation for leaders in Eastern Jutland), Systematic brings agile development into focus on Wednesday 9 June in our domicile in Aarhus. Three experienced practitioners will each explain their perspectives on agile project management.

A powerful cocktail - agile project management in Systematic
Systematic’s Senior Project Manager Carsten Ruseng Jakobsen is one of them. He will explain how Lean, CMMI and Agile supplement each other and how each of them contributes to the success of project implementation – and how this is done within the scope of CMMI.

What is agile project management? Experiences, potentials and misunderstandings
Certified Scrum Coach Bent Myllerup will introduce the Scrum method, describe the challenges and address how managers and employees might get the most from the transition to Scrum.

A leadership philosophy?
Partner in the development house ditmer a/s Johan Bitsch Nielsen will explain his understanding of "agile management" and how it inspires ditmer a/s with its 25 employees. It's about getting tacit knowledge, change, enthusiasts, chaos and complexity to meet and dare to let this meeting produce results.

The event, which will be held in Danish, takes place at Systematic, Søren Frichs Vej 39, Aarhus. Price for participation is 200 DKK. Enrollment is on www.viauc.dk/konferencer. Deadline to sign up is 4 June.
